A speculative essay based on our research on environmental liabilities related to a copper mine in Chile. It explores agency through narratives to awaken agency and political imagination in communities subjected to present-day extractivism.
The essay develops first-person accounts of people in the future working on economies centered on environmental care. These narratives were developed for Toxicity Distributed, our submission to the Driving the Human festival in Berlin.
